The man then looks at us and says "I can appreciate you wanting to get this done on a Saturday, but I don't do that stuff on the weekends."
VERY friendly and helpful staff. Went here for nothing but a few nuts and washers, and one of the guys here took the time to make sure I had exactly the right fit, rather than just pointing me in the direction of the parts.

Horrible customer service. I have been a regular customer and was in there at least once a week for several months. We went to pick up the last round of paint for our house (we had already bought 13 gallons before) and the worker said "well we're closing in an hour so I'm not tinting any paint on a Saturday." He wouldn't even do one gallon when he was holding the formula in his hand. He was so rude, saying "well if you think that's unacceptable, then tough." It takes all of 5 minutes to tint paint. No "sorry", no actual reason he wouldn't do it. He just didn't feel like doing his job. You have lost several customers because of this.
We arrived at Klingenberg's at 3:50pm on Saturday, mind you they are open until 5pm. The man had saved the formula for us incase we needed more. We ask the man if we can get 4 more gallons of this paint, and with the FORMULA IN HIS HAND, he looks us right in the face and says "I'm not mixing any paint today. We are closing in one hour and I don't mix paint on Saturdays. I just don't." I was floored! Then I asked if we could choose from one of the colors on the display and he said "No, I'm not doing anything." There were only 2 other customers in the store at the time and they weren't requiring any attention.
My husband and I are regulars at Klingenberg's. We are always stopping in a few times a month to get things to spruce up our home in MainStrasse. Recently, we decided to repaint our living room, dining room and office. We purchased 13 gallons of specialty mixed paint a few weeks ago to get the project started. (The paint was a match from a Sherwin-Williams color that we liked and the mixing of the paint took all of 10 minutes)
I cannot believe my experience here. Everyone used to be so nice, welcoming and helpful.
....well, they aren't open on Sundays and we both have full time jobs and regularly work past their closing time during the week. I cannot believe how poorly we were treated. They have lost a loyal customer that would have returned again and again.
